FESTIVAL BASICS

CAMPING

Mojave Experience does not provide camping. The festival grounds are adjacent to Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground, and any camping or RV reservations need to be arranged separately through the campground.

FESTIVAL HOURS

Friday night at Mojave Gold: bands start at 7pm / doors at 6pm.

Saturday at Joshua Tree Lake: bands start at 12:30pm / gates open at 11:30am.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Mojave Gold is all ages. Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground is also all ages. However, parental discretion is advised as the festival may include adult themes and content.

VOLUNTEER / HELP

Yes, volunteers are needed. If you are motivated and love music, please contact us through the message box on the site.

VENUE & ACCESS

WEATHER

Expect low 90s during the day and low 70s at night. Bring sunblock and a hat, but know desert weather can change quickly. Bring something warm that you can leave in the car just in case. Dress accordingly. Blankets are allowed if needed.

WATER STATIONS

Free water stations will be available with cups throughout the event. Guests are encouraged to bring refillable bottles to help reduce waste.

IS THE FESTIVAL ADA ACCESSIBLE

Yes. ADA parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis at no cost. ADA parking will be along the east fence of the day parking lot. A verified handicapped placard or license plate is required.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Pets are not allowed inside the festival grounds, but trained service animals are allowed to accompany guests with disabilities. Emotional support animals are not allowed.

PARKING

Parking inside the event grounds is $20 per day. Limited free parking is available outside the event on Sunfair Rd. Please be cautious as some spots are soft sand. Parking is at your own risk. Mojave Experience is not responsible for theft, damage, or any issue related to vehicles parked inside or outside the event grounds.

RULES & SAFETY

REFUND POLICY

No refunds. This is a rain-or-shine event except if the event is canceled due to acts of God, etc. All event information, including venues and lineup, is subject to change.

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED?

Yes. Guests must be 21+ with proper government-issued photo ID that is current. 29 Palms Brew Co will be providing the beer and hosting the bar located in the Boogaloo Lounge.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Your safety is our first concern. All guests and belongings are subject to search. Any prohibited item found will be disposed of and not returned.

  • No outside food or beverages except water

  • No weapons, including firearms, knives, razor blades, etc.

  • No illegal drugs

  • No pets except approved service animals

  • No fireworks or incendiary devices of any kind

  • No glass or metal containers

  • No drones

  • No cameras or video equipment with removable lenses, including GoPro-type devices

  • No large bags or purses

  • No parasols or umbrellas in the stage area

  • No obstructive items in the stage area that block someone’s view

PAYMENT METHODS

This is a cashless event. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, PayPal, bank cards, and credit cards are the only acceptable payment methods at the event.
